About the Artist
Born in Sudan, Hamid currently lives in Ottawa. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Applied Arts, Sudan University. Since 1985 his works have been shown in galleries worldwide including: Sudan, Niger, Germany, Holland, England, and in the USA.
His art depicts the emotions of the human spirit through colour and movement. His images respect the world community, immaterial of political, racial, religious or gender consideration.
