Think of the variety of images of the human form you encounter everyday in magazines, advertising, or even in the pictures on your walls at home. Consider your own form.
This show includes portraiture, and all other creations in which the human form (the human 'figure') is the prime feature. The inspiration for these works is however altered a human form, the human figure or parts of it.

We are preoccupied with the human body. We encounter each other and the world around us through our bodies and its senses.
The human form is consequently an important and powerful means of expressing and experiencing our ideas and beliefs
Walk around and look at the sheer variety of ways in which the human form is depicted - the shapes, sizes, positions, colours, materials, and decoration.
