About the Artist
Mathieu Dubé has been studying drawing and sculpture since the age of 10. He also studied and worked in the field of animation for several years before pursuing a career as an independent artist. Since then, Mathieu has worked for theatre companies doing masks and costumes, for the Canadian military doing commemorative plaques and on numerous other projects connected with sculpture.
His sculptures explore themes of human behavior, social patterns and the passage of time through realistic yet exaggerated human figures.
