About the Artist
Miguel Cerejido is a Canadian based Cuban artist. Born in Havana, he graduated from the academy of Arts San Alejandro and finished a Master Degree in Fine Arts at the Instituto Superior de Arte (I.S.A.). He is an active member of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) and of Art Kollectif Media Foundation Inc.
His works have been exhibited internationally in Havana, Poland, New York, Spain, Germany and Mexico. His explorations in painting have always been dealing with the possible nexuses between music and painting. In a very particular way his subjects merge these artistic disciplines.
