About the Artist
Born and raised in Beaconsfield, England, Rosy has always enjoyed immersing herself in the process of drawing and painting. Rosy originally studied Fine Art and English and worked in graphic design for many years before emigrating to Canada in 1996. She returned to painting in 2000. Moving from Ottawa to Chilliwack and back to Ottawa, Rosy has participated in group exhibitions and juried shows in British Columbia and Ottawa. Rosy has a passion for colour, light and capturing the elusive spirit of her subjects.
