About the Artist
Born in Ottawa, Sean Hyatt is an accomplished visual artists who has been actively involved in Ottawa's Art community’. Having completed a BFA in Visual Arts with a concentration in English at the University of Ottawa in 2003 and most recently a BA in Education at the same institution, this artist and teacher specializes in painted works on canvas.
Hyatt's paintings are primarily figurative and set in charged social and emotional contexts. The artist's aim is to challenge the viewers to question their own beliefs of whom they are, where they are from, where they are going and the nature of their world.
